Carlos Tevez threatened tougher sanctions

Carlos Tevez has received punishment because he refused to play against Bayern Munich in the Champions League. Manchester City are now reportedly seeking tougher penalties for players. Tevez has been sentenced to a maximum of two weeks suspension and a fine of about 500 thousand pounds for Roberto Mancini refused to sign on the bench for the match.

Camp residents have taken legal advice and is trying to bring this case to the PFA (Professional Footballers' Association) to indicate Tevez deserves a punishment more severe than the punishment he received. Suspension of two weeks is the maximum penalty that may be awarded to a player unless you have certain things that must be taken to the Football Association to be extended.

To reinforce their claim, the city is preparing a taped interview that the Argentine striker who said that they did not want to play in the game. "I do not feel good to play, so I do not play," Tevez said after the game ended with the defeat of his team.

Because of its action, Tevez is likely to enter the transfer list, and the city Mancini has said he will not return to play Tevez in the game the next game. After serving a suspension, Tevez is only allowed to receive training with the reserves.
