Stoner Still Targeting Maximum Points

Casey Stoner not carried away with a sizable advantage he has over Jorge Lorenzo. Believe anything can still happen, he will continue to concentrate on the rest of the series. With four series of the season left to live again, so far Stoner topped the standings with 44 points advantage over Lorenzo, the closest pursuer at the same time the defending champion.

Given its dominance so far - Stoner record eight wins from 14 rounds - the Repsol Honda rider clearly predictable matter of time to ensure the title. However, Stoner did not want the reality on the board swept the standings and predictions because it potentially makes careless. The Australian rider to stay focused to continue to reap maximum points up to really be world champion.

"Currently the situation is really good, but anything can still happen. Jorge was always there in the fierce competition on a weekly basis. If we make a mistake, he could use it," said Stoner in Autosport.

"But like last week (in Aragon), we will continue to strive to win. We will not be satisfied only with the points. We want more than that. (Situation) can change very quickly," he said.
